DVD recorder for under £200
Manufacturers always said the DVD recorder market would take off when the price of recorders fell to around that of DVD players. Well expect sales to rocket as Sainsbury's is now offering the Mico Espejo DVDR311 at between £199-229. The machine is a DVD+RW recorder that also records on to +R discs. There's no sign of the iLink/Firewire socket that Mico were promising though.
Philips DVDR70 can now be bought for as little as £230, while Panasonic's DMR-E50 regularily retails for around £250.
