Cowon iAudio M3 review

cowon_iaudio_m3_cradle.JPG

The Guardian has the first review of a product touted as a potential rival to the Apple iPod, the Cowon iAudio M3.

The very stylish metallic finished player is actually smaller and lighter than the iPod, and beats it in terms of features, battery life and price (it is £280 for 20Gigabytes).

The jury is out though on the way the menu screen isn't on the player itself but is integrated into the remote control.

www.mp3-plus.net, the product’s distributors, are putting the finishing touches to its English language software in time for its mid-April launch. The player will however act as an external hard drive and lets users drag and drop music files on to it.
