Shinco's portable DVD for £150

shinco.jpg Are these the cheapest portable DVD players around? We think so. Now available from Firebox are two sub-£200 units from Shinco (no we've never heard of the brand either).

Available in 5 and 7inch versions, the portable players feature Panasonic TFT screens and a Dolby Digital output. Various playback formats are catered for (including CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, JPEG and Kodak Picture CD) and there's a built-in anti-shock system to deal with bumpy journeys.

Other features include a car adaptor, a high capacity lithium battery and a stereo headphone socket. The 7inch model costs £199.95 and the 5inch model is just £149.95.
