Trust releases new battery tester
>Ever tried
to use those power strips on Duracell batteries? You push and push, and it
tells you it’s half full. But it lies. If problems like this bother you, the Trust
battery tester sounds like it should be on your shopping list. Three status indicators tell you whether the
battery is full, empty or half-full (or is that half empty?). All the more
common battery types can be checked (NiMH, NiCd, alkaline and lithium
batteries) and, yes, it will measure most battery sizes as well (AA, AAA, C, D, N
and 9V). The product will be available from May for £4.99.
